The location of the hotel is great, as it is situated near the bus stop, making it convenient for travelers. Additionally, there is a close cafeteria where guests can grab a quick bite to eat. The hotel is also right in the heart of the mountain area, offering beautiful views of the surroundings.
The owner's unfriendliness towards guests can be off-putting and negatively impact the overall experience.

The staff at Sloth Backpackers were incredibly welcoming and helpful during my stay. The room I stayed in was spacious and regularly cleaned, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location of the hostel was ideal, right in the center of Santa Elena. Additionally, the laundry service offered was convenient. One drawback was that some of the window slats in the room and bathroom were broken, making the room slightly chilly at night. However, it was still bearable. Another minor inconvenience was the intermittent slow WiFi connection. I would recommend this hostel for its great service, convenient location, and comfortable rooms.

they helped us organize our onward trip. The location was convenient, close to the bus station and the bus to the cloud forest. One more advantage was the delicious breakfast provided.
The room was somewhat dirty with footprints on the walls and the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The owner failed to inform us about taking receipts for excursions, causing delays.

Great location in the heart of town, close to restaurants and attractions. The owner was very helpful with tourist excursions and provided good recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.
The room could have been cleaner, with some dirt on the walls and a lumpy bed. The wifi signal was weak, making it difficult to connect to the internet in the room.

I gotta say, I got a great deal for my money at this place! The room was spacious, quiet, and had a warm water shower. The location was perfect too, right across from the bus stop that takes you to all the attractions. But the best part? The staff treated me like family! Yorle, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic stay. She even helped me find affordable and amazing tours and guides. It felt like being at home with my mom taking care of me. Pura vida, indeed!
The breakfast experience could've been better if they offered some spices to add a little extra flavor. But overall, still a great place!
